Last night Medea Benjamin, Code Pink founder, was speaking about Saudi Arabia at a local Mosque in Fresno. During her speech five vehicles were broken into, including hers. The windows were smashed and people had personal items stolen.

Medea reported on her Facebook page that all of her things, including personal items and materials were stolen.

Was this a random act of violence, were Medea and her team targeted or was this a hate crime directed towards Muslims?

Not much is clear at the moment but since Donald Trumps election, instances of racial violence have been elevated and many people believe his presidency will legitimize bigotry, and xenophobia.

Hopefully the culprits will be apprehended and the Code Pink team will be restored to its original capacity.
