This photo, taken by the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope, is a cropped version of the largest image ever taken of the Andromeda galaxy.

The full image is 1.5 billion pixels and would take approximately 600 HD televisions to display.  It shows over 100 million stars, thousands of star clusters, and encompasses over 40,000 light-years.
