Activists in Fresno Oppose US Militarism in Syria

Protesters in Fresno gathered to oppose further militarism in Syria after more than 50 tomahawk missiles were fired at an airstrip in Syria. The collateral damage of which killed at least 21 people, most of which were civilians, four of which were children.

The strikes were in response to the chemical attack that killed at least 80.

It has also been reported that US strikes hit a boat full of civilians fleeing the conflict on the Euphrates river. The result of which was the death of a mother and six of her children. Civilian casualties are nothing new to war and the conflict in Syria is no different. At least 229 civilians have been killed by US led coalition strikes since Operation Inherent Resolve was launched.
