Jerry Dyer has reigned over the Fresno Police Department for 15 years.
To celebrate, there will be a gala evening of dinner, dancing and entertainment. The event will benefit Project STEALTH, which stands for Stop Teen Exploitation and Liberate Through Hope.
Asked about the event, Dyer says, “I don’t know if I’m going to be honored or roasted. Probably a little of both.”
He’ll also be protested. The mother of slain teenager, Dylan Noble, has planned a silent demonstration “against FPD brutality…”
The protest starts at 5pm at the Fresno Convention Center.
